Bishop Diego boys volleyball’s record-setting season came to an end with a four-set loss to top-seeded Central East of Fresno in the Div. 3 State Regional Semifinals on Thursday in Fresno.

The Cardinals battled through a tight two sets to open the match before falling in four, 23-25, 25-23, 14-25, 21-25.

Bishop Diego wraps up the season with a 29-10 overall record, including the program’s first-ever CIF-SS title (Div. 5), its first appearance in the State Tournament and an undefeated Tri-Valley League season.
