Santa Ynez High girls water polo opened its league season with a comfortable 19-9 victory over Nipomo High on Monday in Santa Ynez.
Paige Reynolds filled up the stat sheet to lead the Pirates to the win, collecting seven goals, seven assists and three steals. Eloise Raney also had a big offensive performance with six goals.
Meanwhile, Coral Murray was dominant on both ends of the pool with two goals, four assists and eight steals. Willa Hansent rounded out the Santa Ynez standouts with two goals, four assists and one steal.
