The Oakland Soldiers youth basketball organization is coming to Santa Barbara on Sunday, and it is bringing one of the sport’s biggest names with it.

Projected NBA lottery pick and BYU standout AJ Dybantsa will headline the Soldier Showcase on Sunday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Thunderdome.

Tickets to the highly anticipated showcase can be purchased here.

The showcase will feature 10 Nike EYBL teams from the Soldiers Basketball organization. The team will participate in exercises to show those in attendance how the organization operates.

There will also be a dunk contest, 1-on-1 matchups and a three-point shootout between members of the Soldiers Basketball organization.

While Dybantsa will headline the lineup of guests, he will be joined by former professional basketball player and 1v1 specialist Jerome Randle, SoCal dunking legend Christon Staples, UCSB sharpshooter Aidan Mahaney and Olivia West, the emcee for the Indiana Pacers and Indiana Fever.

In addition, nine of the top 100 high school and Team USA players in the country will be at the showcase to give a glimpse into the impact of the organization, which has produced NBA talent such as LeBron James, Kendrick Perkins, Gabe Vincent, Aaron Gordon and Drew Gooden.

The showcase will also mark the debut of the FAM (Family, Advisory, Mentorship) Foundation, a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that “will help serve the community combat disinformation surrounding grassroots, collegiate and professional athletics spaces.”
