A paddle out and memorial will be held for Allen Baxter at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21 at Ledbetter Beach, conducted by Josh Bradbury.
Allen was born on Jan. 1, 1951; he died on Oct. 30, 2025.
Those attending the paddle-out are asked to please bring flowers to share to be tossed into the ocean. There will be a memorial box for cards and memories of Allen.
A small memorial will be held after the paddle-out starting around 12:30 p.m. Please share stories or how you knew or met Allen, or just your presence would be greatly appreciated.
A taco truck will be provided, as well as nonalcoholic drinks. Please bring your own beverage if you desire anything else.
Let’s give Allen the happy lively celebration he would love. Hawaiian shirts are encouraged.
