Two bodies were discovered Sunday night on a missing vessel that was about 20 miles southwest of the Santa Barbara Harbor, according to the County Sheriff’s Coroner’s Office.

The U.S. Coast Guard notified the Sheriff’s Office of the discovery around 8 p.m. Sunday. 

Sheriff’s spokeswoman Kelly Hoover said Tuesday that the Coroner’s Office is notifying next of kin and investigating the deaths, “but no foul play is suspected.” 

No further information was available.
