Carpinteria fell to Malibu in three sets in the Citrus Coast League boys volleyball finale on Wednesday at Carpinteria Middle School.
Malibu completed an undefeated (6-0) league season with a 25-23, 25-13, 25-18 sweep.
Diesel Slade led the Warriors with five kills, two aces, five blocks and one dig. Gavin Lohuis had eight digs, four aces, three blocks and two kills.
Carpinteria finishes the season at 2-4 in league and 2-5 overall.
