Catherine Streegan Catani of Solvang and Richard Kline of Los Alamos were recently appointed to the Solvang Theaterfest Board of Directors.
Dr. Streegan Catani has been practicing family dentistry for 35 years. Born in Manila and raised in Cebu City, she brings her heritage of gracious tradition and hospitality to her practice. She was first introduced to the country in her senior year of high school when she was selected as a Rotary Exchange Student and attended Nathan Hale High School in Seattle, Washington.
She returned home to attend the University of the Philippines and Cebu Doctor’s College for her pre-dentistry certification. She received her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the Centro Escolar University in Manila. Dr. Streegan Catani also has completed a four-year business management program at The Schuster Center for Professional Development in Scottsdale, Arizona.
In the community, she donates time to various charitable organizations; she served the Atterdag Board for six years, and played a key role in representing her professional dental colleagues in the Santa Ynez Valley and the Lompoc area as director for the Santa Barbara Ventura Dental Society. She currently serves as president of the High Meadow Road Community.
Kline and his wife Sharon have owned and operated a cattle ranch in Los Alamos since 1988. He is the retired vice president, communications and public affairs at Occidental Petroleum, and previously served in senior management positions for major international public relations consulting firms.

Kline also is a member of the Santa Ynez Equestrian Association, Santa Barbara Trail Riders, and the County Cattlemen’s Association. In 2017, he was the recipient of the Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office Exceptional Citizen Award.
