Jaxon Burford made eight saves in his varsity debut and his twin brother, Jerad, scored two goals for the Santa Barbara High boys water polo team in a 12-7 Channel League win over Lompoc on Thursday.
Alex Svensson tallied a team-high three goals in four minutes of play, Zinzan Kyle had two goals and freshman Ethan Camp scored the first goal of the game as the Dons improved to 3-0 in league.
Santa Barbara heads to Orange County over the weekend to play in the Steve Pal Tournament. The Dons open against Division 3 rival Santiago in the first round.
