A standoff in Lompoc on Thursday ended without the suspect being taken into custody, and police are seeking information about his whereabouts.
Just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday, officers from the Lompoc Police Department responded to a call about an incident of domestic violence and criminal threats, Cpl. Mark Powell said.
The investigation led to an arrest warrant for John “JD” Terrones, 39, and a search warrant for his residence on the 500 block of North I Street.
Officers believed Terrones has access to weapons.
Police SWAT team members served the search warrant at the residence several hours later, but did not find Terrones inside.
Terrones is wanted on suspicion of possessing a firearm, domestic violence, child endangerment, terrorist threats, and intimating or dissuading a witness
