San Marcos boys volleyball remained undefeated in Channel League play with a sweep of Rio Mesa on Tuesday inside the Thunderhut.
The Royals (14-3, 4-0 Channel League) took complete control from the opening seven and never looked back en route to the win, 25-6, 25-13, 25-14.
Alex Radumovsky had a strong night in the middle for San Marcos with three kills on five blocks, while Pierce Phillips set a strong match for the Royals.
San Marcos will head across town to take on rival Santa Barbara High on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. at J.R. Richards Gym.

Santa Barbara High 3, Oxnard 0
The Dons (10-3, 4-0 CL) went on the road and came away with a sweep of the Yellow Jackets on Tuesday, 25-17, 25-20, 25-15.
“Oxnard has a really good team. I’m proud to see our focus and how mentally prepared we were to play Oxnard and not overlook our opponent tonight, considering we have San Marcos on Thursday at home,” Santa Barbara High head coach Chad Arneson said.
Hayes Costner ended the night with 15 kills for the Dons, while Jasper Bell collected 10 of his own.
Jackson McDermott and Beck Young contributed on the defensive end with eight and four digs, respectively.
Providence 3, Laguna Blanca 1
The Patriots battled to a four-set win over their crosstown Owls on Tuesday in Santa Barbara, 26-24, 25-17, 22-25, 25-17.
“We played hard today and had our chances, but Providence played a little bit cleaner than us most of the match. Credit to them for a good win,” Laguna Blanca head coach Jason Donnelly said.
Jamie Levinson’s six kills led the Laguna Blanca attack, while Baylor Wilson tallied 21 assists and six digs.
The Owls (3-5, 2-2 Tri-Valley League) and Patriots will clash once again on Wednesday at 5 p.m. in Hope Ranch.
