
Brian Forster was born on Jan. 24, 1967, in Waterford, Michigan. In 1979, he moved with his family to California.
Brian was a standout tennis player for St. Joseph High School in Santa Maria, and served as president of his senior class.
Brian attended Santa Clara University, where he met Ellen Finley, and dear friends.
He and Ellen married and built a life together in Mukilteo, Washington, raising three children Gavin, Simon and Grace, whom he loved deeply and cherished.
Brian was a lover of live-music, spontaneous adventures, biking, local sports; his beloved Seattle Seahawks, travel, fitness, and visiting Santa Barbara for good food and fun.
In recent years, Brian worked in sales at Maple Systems, where he flourished. He lived in downtown Everett, Washington, and enjoyed the community with impressive attendance to local events, farmers markets, and various shows.
He passed away on Aug. 11, 2025, at the age of 58.
Brian is survived by his children with spouses Gavin (Tess), Simon (Grace), and Grace (Jesse); his father Dennis Forster; brother Jeff Forster and sister-in-law Laura Forster and their children, Julia, Samantha and Jeffrey.
He was preceded in death by his mother Patricia Forster.
