Ashleigh Erving, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, has been promoted to director of Clinical Operations at CALM.
In her new role, Erving is responsible for the operational management of CALM’s comprehensive array of clinical services throughout Santa Barbara County, including program performance, staff supervision, service documentation, contract oversight, and budget management.
As a member of CALM’s Executive Team, she supervises senior managers and program managers responsible for clinical operations, program services, continuous quality improvement, and office management in Santa Barbara, Santa Maria and Lompoc.

“Ashleigh’s skills in staff leadership, strategic planning, and programmatic impact make this the perfect position to continue her growth at CALM,” said Alana Walczak, CALM’s president/CEO. “I have come to rely on Ashleigh as a trusted thought partner and look forward to her insights in critical organizational conversations moving forward,”
Erving returned to CALM in 2021, having previously served as an intensive in-home therapist from 2007-09. She brings nearly 20 years of experience having most recently served as the executive director of Channel Islands YMCA Youth and Family Services.
She also provided leadership at Family Service Agency of Santa Barbara County, instituting data-driven approaches to improve the quality of clinical service delivery and community collaborations.
