A program record for Emi Kanda Gleeson headlined Cate Swim’s sweep of Foothill Tech in a Tri-Valley League meet on Friday.
The Rams’ girls team came out on top by a score of 115-101, while the boys squad won its matchup 172-124.
Kanda-Gleeson set the new school record in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:01.60, and also captured first place in the 200 IM.
Meanwhile, Jen Won (100 fly, 500 freestyle), Jae Wykoff (50 freestyle, 100 freestyle), Mo Kanda-Gleeson (100 backstroke, 200 IM) and Wil Rivera (200 fly, 200 freestyle) all won two individual events as well.
Sofia Wang won the 100 breaststroke, Josiah Hansen took first in the 500 freestyle and Devon Liang touched first in the 100 breaststroke to round out the Cate winners.
The Rams will be back in action at home against Nordhoff on Thursday.
