The Cate swim teams rolled to a sweep of crosstown rival Carpinteria High on Friday in Carpinteria.
The Rams boys came out on top by a score of 120-49, while the girls team earned a 95-65 victory.
“I’m proud of the performances by the athletes today; they showed a lot of heart. Our swimmers continue to improve each meet, and that progress remains our focus going forward,” Carpinteria High head coach Jon Otsuki said.
Jake Ehlers was the lone event winner for the Carpinteria boys, capturing first place in both the 100 and 200 freestyle events. He posted CIF-SS D3 consideration times in both races.
The Warrior girls found more success, led by individual event wins from Izzy Scott (50 freestyle), Madison Lee (100 freestyle) and Lucy Moore (500 freestyle).
The 4×100 freestyle relay team of Scott, Lee, Moore and Hazel Dugre came together for a CIF-SS D2 consideration time, while Scott, Lee, Dugre and Lucia Smith met CIF-SS D2 consideration standards in the 4×50 freestyle relay.
Smith also recorded a CIF-SS consideration time in the 100 backstroke with a lifetime best time.
Carpinteria High will host Santa Paula in a league meet on Wednesday.
