All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School has celebrated 60 years of success! We begin our program with children turning two and graduate children who are heading off to kindergarten.

With smaller class sizes our teachers can provide more individual attention to each student. All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School has a child-friendly facility with lots of play space designed for children to build confidence, independence, and socialization, all of which are crucial before academic demands increase in primary education.

The All Saints by- the-Sea Parish School program effectively blends playful learning with school readiness. We offer a variety of learning opportunities through art, music, dance, dramatic play, science, games, stories, reading, math readiness, and outdoor activities.

Our free flowing, secure campus offers the children plenty of outside time to develop their physical confidence. Children have “special jobs” at school such as bell ringer, line leader, meteorologist, worm feeder, and calendar helper, which teaches them responsibility and the value of getting involved.

There is a vibrant garden with raised beds that the children play an active role in maintaining. They plant, water, and harvest many pumpkins, vegetables, herbs, lettuce varieties, and flowers. The teachers incorporate these items into snacks, which also reinforces the concept of sustainability and farm to table.

The school staff is comprised of twelve members, which encompasses seven credentialed teachers who work with five assistant teachers.

The staff are members of the Tri-County Association for the Education of Young Children, the California Association for the Education of Young Children, and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.

Ten of the twelve staff members have also sent their children to All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School.

The All Saints by-the-Sea Parent Council is an active and integral part of the school community. The Parent Council provides an enrichment program of extracurricular activities for the students, such as a Pumpkin Patch, Reptile Guy, Farm Animals, Pj’s and Pancakes, Zoo to You, The Bubble Guy, The Beat Buds, and a transportation party – just to name a few!

There is also a provided weekly music and movement program, which showcases two performances throughout the year.

Faculty and students form a caring community in which all are supportive and sharing of each other’s growth. Families return generation after generation to appreciate the structure, values, and traditions of All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School.

In addition to our educational program, children also attend a weekly church service where they participate in stories and songs.

All Saints by-the-Sea Parish School is a nonprofit self-supporting school that welcomes children of all races, religions, and national origins.

Our Pre-K program focuses on language development, writing, and simple math. Children are emotionally, academically, and socially well prepared when they head off to kindergarten.

It’s never too early to start looking for preschools!
