Designed to bring people together in the heart of Santa Maria, the city’s Recreation and Parks Department is starting a new recurring event called Coastal Bites & Brews, kicking off 5:30-8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 19 at Machado Plaza, 224 W. Chapel St.
Coastal Bites & Brews, which is free to attend, invites the community to unwind midweek and enjoy a relaxed evening filled with local flavor, live music, and good company under the plaza lights, the city said.
Event highlights include a variety of gourmet food truck options from local vendors, along with specialty beverages provided by Chido Bar.
Attendees are encouraged to bring friends and family to enjoy a “bite out” at the plaza. Parking is available in the surrounding Machado Plaza area and at Town Center West, 142 E. Town Center Drive.
