A vehicle crash blocking Highway 101 in western Goleta caused major traffic backups Wednesday morning.

Minor injuries were reported in the rollover collision, which happened at 5:35 a.m. on the highway near Haskell’s Beach, according to emergency responders.

The crash initially blocked all southbound highway lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Significant traffic delays continued for hours, even after one lane was reopened, according to the CHP and Caltrans.

All lanes were cleared and cones were removed at 8:40 a.m., the CHP said.
