Dos Pueblos boys golf earned its second straight win over Yucca Valley and Indio High in a non-league matchup on Thursday at Terra Lago South Course.
The Chargers finished the day at 215 as a team in the nine-hole match to beat out Yucca Valley and Indio at 239 and 259, respectively.
“It was a pretty hot day and the boys were able to stay focused and fight through the 30mph winds,” Dos Pueblos head coach Kevin Ahlers said. “It was great to see them research the new course before and see them playing like it was their home course.”
Connor Nightingale picked up medalist honors for the Chargers with his score of 39, as he was the lone golfer to shoot sub-40 in the win.
The other Dos Pueblos golfers were Colt Roberts (43), Parker Hickman (43), Coulter Jay (45) and Sam MacNaughton (45).
The Chargers are now 12-5 overall and remain 2-1 in Channel League action.
