One person was seriously injured Tuesday in a rollover crash on Highway 101 near Refugio State Beach on the Gaviota Coast.
Santa Barbara County firefighters and other emergency personnel were dispatched shortly after 9:30 a.m. to incident along the southbound lanes, according to fire Capt. Scott Safechuck.
A Toyota 4-Runner veered across the adjacent railroad tracks just south of Refugio, and ended up about 30 feet off the roadway on a bike path, Safechuck said.
The woman who was driving, the sole occupant, suffered moderate injuries and was taken by AMR ambulance to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital.
Her name and details on her condition were not available.
Train traffic was halted in the area while first responders aided the injured woman and cleared the wreckage.
The crash was under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
