Downtown Santa Barbara country line dance nights are back, 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays during September on the State Street Promenade in front of Best BBQ, 716 State St.

Free country line dancing lessons, led by Christy Grant, will take place, 6-7 p.m., followed by open dancing, 7-8 p.m. Music will be provided by Skip Stecker, “the Dancin’ DJ.”

Food specials will be offered throughout the evening, provided by Best BBQ and Apna Indian Kitchen.
