The Red Cross shelters, feeds & provides comfort to people affected by disasters; supplies about 40% of the nation’s blood; teaches skills that save lives; supports veterans, military members & their families; & distributes international aid.

The mission of the Animal Shelter Assistance Program (ASAP Cats) is to save the lives of cats in Santa Barbara County by providing shelter, veterinary care, behavioral support, adoption and foster services, education, and community outreach. We are committed to treating every cat as an individual, deserving personalized help and compassion throughout their time in our care.

C.A.R.E.4Paws
C.A.R.E.4Paws works to reduce pet overpopulation and improve pet family welfare on the Central Coast. Our critical services prevent suffering and ensure that animals don’t end up in shelters due to lack of resources and access to care. We assist more than 25,000 pet families annually in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo counties.

Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation (CEDC)
CEDC’s mission is simple yet powerful: to develop and manage service-enriched, inclusive residential communities that ensure access to affordable, secure, quality housing, creating the foundation for our residents to grow and thrive. For more than four decades, we have worked tirelessly to turn that belief into reality for low-income individuals and families across Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.
Today, CEDC manages 27 properties with 1,314 rental homes, serving over 4,000 residents. -
Cancer Foundation of Santa Barbara
As an independent, non-profit organization, the Foundation’s Board of Trustees and staff work daily to ensure that the trust you put in us allows Ridley-Tree Cancer Center physicians, nurses and supportive care staff to have the necessary resources to provide the highest level of care on the Central Coast. The mission of the Cancer Foundation is to ensure the availability of superior cancer care and patient support services for all residents of Santa Barbara County.

Promoting the physical, psychological, emotional, social and spiritual needs of seniors and their families with four primary programs. Senior Peer Counseling providing individual and group counseling, led by seniors, to help mitigate isolation and loneliness. Careline Telephone Reassurance Program providing daily or weekly phone calls. Real Help program helping people find household assistance at a reduced hourly rate. And the quarterly Successful Aging Newspaper, distributed to over 140 sites.

Community Partners in Caring (CPC) is a nonprofit that empowers seniors and adults with disabilities in Santa Barbara County, 5- Cities and Nipomo through volunteer support. Volunteers provide essential services—transportation, errands, and friendly visits—helping to reduce isolation and build meaningful connections. Domestic Violence Solutions for Santa Barbara County
Domestic Violence Solutions (DVS) for Santa Barbara County’s mission is to provide safety, shelter, and support for indiviuals affected by domestic violence and collaborate with community partners to raise awareness regarding the cause, prevalence, and impact. DVS is Santa Barbara County’s only full-service provider of 24/7 emergency shelter and services for survivors of domestic violence. Elings Park Foundation
Elings Park is the largest privately funded park in the U.S. More than twice the size of Disneyland, this scenic gem features sweeping ocean views and picturesque oak groves, and has been Santa Barbara’s gathering place for recreation, the arts, nature, and inspiration since 1985. Its mission is made possible by community donations, as this treasured one-of-a-kind green space receives no government funding whatsoever. Elings Park is free and open to the public 365 days a year.

Environmental Defense Center
For almost 50 years, EDC has used its legal, policy, and scientific expertise to win lasting protections for clean air, clean water, wild spaces, and a healthy environment for all. EDC serves as the only environmental nonprofit law firm in Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties, providing free and low-cost legal services to more than 140 nonprofit organizations. EDC’s core program areas are: Climate and Energy, Ocean, Land and Water, and Environmental Justice.

Families ACT!
Families ACT! is a grassroots 501c3 dedicated to reforming our mental health and criminal justice system by promoting investment in treatment rather than punishment for residents with behavioral health conditions who cycle through a revolving door of homelessness and incarceration. In the twenty years of our advocacy, hundreds of treatment and recovery beds have been added to our county’s continuum. Countless more are needed to help restore the well being of our loved ones and our community.

Food From The Heart
Food From The Heart prepares and delivers weekly bags of meals to low-income individuals who are managing an illness. We serve 156 low-income individuals each week in the Carpinteria, Goleta and Santa Barbara areas (including unincorporated areas) who are battling illness or recovering from major surgery, are housebound without a primary caregiver and do not have the financial resources to hire a caregiver or outside food service. Our goal is to ensure our clients do not face food insecurity.

Friendship Center Adult Day Services
Friendship Center Adult Day Services is a 501(c)3 non-profit program dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for adults living with dementia while providing much needed respite for their families and caregivers. Our programs provide person-centered activities that include engaging experiences like live music, pet and art therapy, fitness classes, hobby groups, and community excursions, all for adults living with dementia and related cognitive conditions.

The Gaviota Coast Conservancy protects the rural character and ecological integrity of the stunning Gaviota Coast—Southern California’s last wild coastline. GEF engages the community to invest in and enhance an excellent educational experience for all students attending schools in the Goleta Union School District (GUSD).
We support each of the ten GUSD schools and the more than 3,500 students that are diverse in both socioeconomics and ethnicity. By funding additional programs, we can support parity across schools and learning groups, regardless of each school’s ability to raise funds to augment district resources. -

The Greater Santa Barbara Ice Skating Association, dba, Ice in Paradise is a premier ice skating and recreation facility located in Goleta, California, nestled against the stunning backdrop of the Santa Barbara Coast. Ice in Paradise offers an array of activities for ice skating enthusiasts of all ages, from beginners to seasoned skaters and hockey players! Ice in Paradise provides year round opportunities for families, friends and athletes to engage in a variety of ice sports!

Meals on Wheels – Santa Maria Valley
Meals on Wheels – Santa Maria Valley has delivered affordable, freshly-prepared and ready-to-eat meals to elderly and homebound residents of the Santa Maria Valley since 1972. Along with a nutritious meal, our volunteers provide a friendly home visit. Often, our volunteer is the only person our client sees on a given day. This trusted program provides physical nourishment, relieves the loneliness experienced by many homebound people, allowing our clients to live with dignity and independence.

Music Academy of the West cultivates the next generation of classical musicians through a premier Summer Music Festival & School, immersive year-round training, and vibrant community programs. NatureTrack sparks curiosity and a love of the outdoors by connecting people of ALL abilities to the natural world. Since 2011, we’ve provided free field trips and adventures on trails and beaches for tens of thousands of K–12 students and wheelchair users ages 5 to 101! NatureTrack inspires stewardship of our natural resources because it’s human nature to protect what you are connected to and love. Nomad Tango was born after the pandemic to help keep Tango Argentino alive. When dancing and theaters were shut down, we supported dancers, musicians, and teachers — and today tango thrives again. We push the art forward with new formats and music, and we build community through practicas, classes, shows, and live performances. With no fixed venue, we partner with local spaces and create a vibrant, nomadic tango experience.

North County Rape Crisis & Child Protection Center
The mission of the North County Rape Crisis and Child Protection Center is to reduce the incidence of and vulnerability to sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking by providing education and prevention skills to community children and adults, and to alleviate the trauma experienced by survivors of these crimes by providing direct services. Cuts in funding at the Federal level are directly impacting those we serve in our community. Giving today ensures their voice is heard tomorrow.

The Nuclear Age Peace Foundation (NAPF) is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization with a mission to educate and advocate for a just and peaceful world free of nuclear weapons. Since its founding in 1982, the Foundation has been at the forefront of global efforts to abolish nuclear weapons and foster a culture of peace. Founded in 2009, Organic Soup Kitchen provides nutrient-dense, medically tailored SoupMeals to low-income individuals, seniors, and those battling cancer or chronic illness. Believing food is medicine, OSK addresses food insecurity and chronic disease in Santa Barbara County through organic, locally sourced ingredients and functional nutrition. Serving 800+ clients weekly, OSK delivers meals directly to marginalized residents with compassion, care, and dignity.

Partners in Housing Solutions
Since 2015, Partners in Housing Solutions has been working to change the story for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Santa Barbara County. The word “partners” reflects their core belief in collaboration, partnering with rental property owners and community organizations to bridge housing gaps. To date, they’ve helped more than 1,400 people find permanent housing. Thanks to the relationships they’ve built and support from donors, they are making a lasting impact.

Paso Pacifico
Paso Pacifico’s mission is to restore Central America’s tropical dry forests and coastal ecosystems, especially in Nicaragua, El Salvador, and Costa Rica. We do this by providing jobs to local people who work as community rangers and by building up youth through a junior ranger educational program. Donors like you are helping to safeguard habitats and ensure a future for endangered macaws, spider monkeys, and sea turtles.
