Did the storm damage your home or your business? The county wants to know.
Kelly Hubbard, Santa Barbara County’s emergency management director, asked people to report their damage to homes or businesses, so the county can try to appeal for state or federal assistance.
The storm damage report form is here.
About 35 people have filed reports so far, which is not enough to ask for federal assistance for community members, she said Tuesday.
The damage reports will also help the county understand the extent of the local impacts. The information will be used for storm recovery assistance only, and will be kept confidential, the county says.
More storm recovery resources from the county are online here.
