Indivisible Santa Barbara invites the community to join the No Kings 3 protest, Saturday, March 28, starting at Alameda Park.
At 11 a.m. participants can “meet with leaders of community organizations and learn how to get involved in defending our democracy, supporting our immigrant neighbors, and protecting reproductive, transgender, and voting rights,” organizers said.
At 12:30 p.m. there will be a program of short speeches, including remarks from Congressman Salud Carbajal, City Councilmember Wendy Santamaria, and activists who are driving the change.
At the close of the program participants will march together to De La Guerra Plaza.
Those interested can also join the No Kings 3 Kickoff Call, 5 p.m. Thursday, March 19.
