Joyce Cuellar passed away in December 2025. She was a devoted mother whose steady presence and quiet strength shaped the life of her daughter Misty Cuellar.

Joyce dedicated over 30 years to her work at a local florist. She  faced illness with courage for many years, continuing to find comfort in simple pleasures — watching “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” each evening, and faithfully feeding her hummingbirds.

She showed love through actions more than words. With her daughter, she shared a private phrase: “AND I U.”

Joyce often said she never understood why people come around after someone dies instead of showing up while they are still alive. In her memory, let that be the reminder: love people out loud, in real time.

She also leaves behind her cherished “grandcat” Big Boy, a title she happily claimed and a name she proudly chose.
