Laguna Blanca girls basketball earned a 24-17 non-league win over Santa Clara on Thursday in Hope Ranch.
The Owls jumped out to an early lead in the opening quarter and fended off Santa Clara’s comeback efforts en route to the victory.
Kira Rameson had a strong night on the offensive end for Laguna Blanca, tallying a team-high 10 points. Meanwhile, Lina Smith hauled in eight rebounds to help secure the win in the fourth quarter.
The Owls are now 5-2 and will break for the holidays before resuming league play in January.
