Laguna Blanca swim turned in a strong showing in its season-opening Tri-Valley League meet with Dunn, Villanova Prep, Bishop Diego, St. Bonaventure and Oak Grove on Thursday.
The Owls’ boys team placed first overall, while the girls team earned a third-place finish.
The Laguna Blanca boys were led by double individual event winners Bennett Sullivan (100 freestyle, 100 breaststroke) and Matthew Sullivan (100 butterfly, 200 freestyle).
Meanwhile, Siobhan Murphy represented the Owls girls with a first-place finish in the 500 freestyle.
The Laguna Blanca 200 medley relay team of Jake Wyatt, Bennett Sullivan, Matthew Sullivan and Yikai Feng rounded out the team’s performance with a first-place showing.
