When joint pain becomes unbearable, it can interfere with daily activities and prevent people from doing the things they love.
Dr. Bryan Emmerson, an orthopedic surgeon affiliated with the Cottage Center for Orthopedics, will discuss treatment options for joint pain at a free event, 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 1, at the Santa Maria Inn, 801 S. Broadway.
Dr. Emmerson will talk about how to keep joints healthy, as well as treatments for pain relief and joint replacement. A question and answer session will follow his presentation. Refreshments will be served.
