Levi Monson came through with a pinch-hit, walk-off single to power San Marcos baseball to a 6-5 win over Capistrano Valley in the Anaheim Tournament on Tuesday.
After a back-and-forth game throughout, Monson provided the biggest hit of the night with an RBI single with the bases loaded to give the Royals the win.
Isaac Corvera tossed four strong innings of relief for San Marcos to keep the Capistrano Valley offense in check.
Offensively, Miles Herbert, Quinn Melton, Mason Crang and Landon Johnson tallied two hits apiece for the Royals.
