The Santa Barbara Public Library, in partnership with Cycling Without Age Santa Barbara, will host two screenings of “Cycling Without Age,” an award-winning documentary that takes viewers on a journey of compassion, community, and the joy of cycling.

The film, which has been shown at more than 40 film festivals, follows John Seigel-Boettner, a retired middle school teacher in Santa Barbara, and his team of volunteers as they take seniors on pedal-powered trishaw rides, reconnecting them with nature and their community.

“Cycling Without Age” screenings are:

Sunday, March 23, 3-4 p.m. at Santa Barbara Central Library, 40 E. Anapamu St.

Friday, March 28, 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. at Eastside Library, 1102 E. Montecito St.
