San Marcos High School freshman Hudson Chossek has turned his passion for tennis into a means to fight childhood cancer and provide opportunities for those with Parkinson’s Disease.

Chossek will hold a local tennis clinic from Sunday, March 29, to Thursday, April 2, at San Marcos High School, with 100% of the proceeds benefitting the fight against childhood cancer.

The 14-year-old will also offer an adaptive tennis class for those with Parkinson’s Disease during the clinic.

Chossek’s involvement in the fight against childhood cancer was kick-started as a result of a close childhood friend passing away from cancer. He has served on the youth board of a local childhood cancer foundation for over two years.

To date, Chossek has raised $3,000 and has a group of young tennis players and those with Parkinson’s Disease already signed up for his clinic.

Chossek is a fourth-generation Santa Barbara local, a member of the AAPLE Academy at San Marcos and a singles player on the San Marcos varsity tennis team.

More information on Chossek’s clinic can be found below.
