City of Lompoc Ordinance No. 1726(25), Relating to Development Impact Fees, Goes Into Effect
Lompoc Ordinance 1726(25), which pertains to the city’s Development Impact Fees (DIFs) is now in effect.
The ordinance eliminates DIFs for all new development within the city, except for refuse containers, public safety and library impact fees, which have been revised but will remain in place.
As noted by City Council at its May meeting, the revision represents a significant step toward promoting economic growth and development within the community while stimulating residential and commercial development within Lompoc.
Community members, developers and contractors are encouraged to review the ordinance on the city’s website.
For questions regarding the ordinance and updated fee structure, or for questions related to specific development applications, community members can contact the associated city department, or visit the website.
Community members may contact the city’s Finance Department with general questions regarding the financial aspects of the ordinance.
