The Lompoc Transit Division has announced that fares across all fixed-route bus lines, ride on-demand, and ADA Paratransit will be free through the end of February.
The limited-time offering allows community members to engage with Lompoc’s updated transit system, including new routes, stops and offerings, the city said.
“Community members are encouraged to take advantage of the city’s safe and dependable public transit system, at no cost,” the city said. “Whether commuting to work, going out to dinner, or shopping on the weekend, this is a great opportunity for residents to explore how public transit can fit into their day-to-day lifestyle.”
The free fares apply to all transit services operating within city limits through Feb. 28. The offer does not apply to the Clean Air Express routes. Those services will continue to operate on their regular fare schedules.
For route maps, schedules and moe transit information, community members can visit the transit website or contact the Transit Department, 805-736-7666.
