The Marian Regional Medical Center Foundation has appointed three new members to its Board of Directors — Gregory Beebe, Terri Leifeste and Anna Murphy.
The Marian Foundation supports the health care programs at the hospital and helps enhance patient care through fundraising, raising awareness, and fostering community partnerships year-round.
“Our organization is both excited and honored to welcome three new and exceptional community members to the Marian Foundation Board of Directors,” said Jessa Brooks, Marian Regional Medical Center’s vice president of philanthropy.
“The three newly appointed board members recently joined a dedicated Board of Directors who continue to dedicate their time and generosity to supporting and advancing Marian Regional Medical Center’s programs and services,” Brooks said.

Beebe, CEO/president of Lee Beebe Construction, Inc., brings years of experience in construction and general contracting to his new role.
He was the longest serving chair for the Santa Maria Police Council for the 15 years of its existence, and maintained the title of highest fundraiser in its history.
Beebe has been a member of the Marian Foundation Board of Directors in the past, serving 2 three-year terms.
“His experience and expertise in fundraising acumen will be pivotal in advancing Marian’s mission of enhancing patient care,” the foundation said. “But his interest in our success is personal as well.
“Greg’s mother worked at Marian for 37 years as a Registered Nurse and night supervisor, so his commitment to volunteer and give back is also due to the deep impact our hospital has had on his family.”

Terri Leifeste
Leifeste, who is vice president/group publisher at Santa Maria California News Media, Inc., brings knowledge in news media, marketing, and business budgeting to the foundation.
She has served on the Santa Maria Chamber of Commerce governmental affairs committee; Board of Directors of the Northern Santa Barbara County Economic Forecast Project; and the board of the Northern Santa Barbara County United Way.
“Terri’s dedication to community engagement aligns seamlessly with Marian’s commitment to advancing cancer care treatments in the Santa Maria Valley,” the foundation said.

Murphy’s career in enology, viticulture and hospitality spans over a decade, with Presqu’ile Winery in Santa Maria. She works with winemakers at all stages of the winemaking process, and helps lead the overall direction of the winery alongside her family.
Prior to her leadership role at Presqu’ile Winery, Murphy worked at Hendrix College in the International Programs Department, focusing on the college’s Rwandan Scholarship Program.
As a board member for the Hendrix-Murphy Foundation, she has gained experience in nonprofit organizations and fundraising.
The Marian Foundation has also named its Board of Directors officers for Fiscal Year 2025. The new officers, who will serve through June include:
Terry Dworaczyk, chair; Silvia H. Sun, Esq., vice chair; Aaron Hanke, secretary/treasurer;
and Dr. Dhagash Joshi, immediate past chair.
