Question: What is the name and date of your event?
Answer: Thurs. March 5, 2026 – An Evening with Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton at The Granada Theatre. Doors Open at 6:30pm with Live Music.
Q: What is the mission, goal, and/or theme of this occasion?
A: The goal of this fundraising event is to raise financial support so that we can carry out Network Medical Women’s Center mission to provide free, judgment-free healthcare, through licensed medical professionals that empower women to take control of their reproductive health with dignity and respect.
Our medical services include pregnancy tests, state-of-the-art 3d/4d ultrasound imaging, and sexually transmitted infection testing and treatment. To learn more about our medical services and how we support the women of Santa Barbara County, please visit our website here.
Q: Tell us some more details about your celebration?
A: An Evening with Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton – Presented by Network Medical Women’s Center
Recently inducted into the Surfer’s Hall of Fame, Bethany Hamilton is a wife, mother and a professional surfer from Hawaii whose best-selling autobiography was turned into a hit major motion picture, “Soul Surfer.” She is known for surviving a traumatic shark attack at age 13, losing her left arm, and for overcoming that huge life change to ultimately becoming one of the best women surfers in the world.
Now, through her social media channels, her documentary “Unstoppable,” her podcast “All Things Possible,” and her program “Unstoppable Life,” Bethany is a motivational speaker, epic role model, and life coach who is passionate about helping YOU live “Unstoppable” too.

Q: How do people get involved with your event? (volunteer, attend, etc.) – If your event includes ticket sales, please note the price and include a link to purchase tickets.
A: Tickets may be purchased for the Evening with Soul Surfer Bethany Hamilton at The Granada Theatre here. Tickets are $10/person. Since the event is general admission and not reserved seating, we encourage attendees to come early to get their seats and enjoy the live music. Doors Open at 6:30m with live music. The event starts at 7pm. See you at The Granada!
Q: Is this a fundraising affair? If so, how will the funds raised help your organization?
A: We provide medical services to women in our community at no cost to them, and the way we are able to do that is by having a fundraiser every year. We are 100% private donor funded.
