New Frontiers Natural Marketplace

Question: What is the name of your business?

Answer: New Frontiers Natural Marketplace.

Q: Tell me about the term “Natural Marketplace” in your name.

A: When we say “Natural,” we mean no artificial ingredients whatsoever. Our products are free from artificial sweeteners, preservatives, colorings, added hormones, antibiotics, growth stimulants, sulfites, sulfates, and artificial pesticides & herbicides, and we feature the largest selection of organic produce in the area. And by “Marketplace,” we refer to a vibrant meeting ground where people gather, local vendors thrive, and you discover Real · Good · Food that you won’t find in mainstream chain stores.

Q: What is your company’s mission?

A: At the heart of New Frontiers is the desire to inspire personal growth and positive change. We do this by providing healthy choices, by educating ourselves and others, and by creating a delightful experience. We embrace every opportunity to improve the quality of life in our relationships, in our communities, and in our world. Together, we can make a difference by enhancing everyone’s well-being one person at a time.

Q: What can we expect to find at your store?

A: We take pride in providing the Santa Ynez Valley’s widest selection of local and organic produce. We’re known for our gourmet deli, which boasts a delightful array of options, including a hot bar, salad bar, mouthwatering entrees, side dishes, soups, sandwiches, fresh-made pizza, sushi, stir fry bowls, delectable desserts, a scratch bakery, with a coffee/juice/smoothie bar. Additionally, we offer a traditional butcher and meat shop featuring premium-quality meat, chicken, seafood, and more. We also have an extensive well-being department offering supplements, herbs, personal-care products, and a unique selection of gifts. We’re a full shop, one stop grocery store.

Q: How long have you been in business?

A: Since our establishment in 1987, we have been a privately-owned and operated business. New Frontiers has been proudly serving the community since 1996 at our current location on the corner of Highway 246 and Alamo Pintado Rd. In 2018, we relocated to our present 15,000-square-foot store, right across the parking lot from our previous smaller store. It brings us great joy to serve the community of the Santa Ynez Valley and surrounding areas and contribute to its overall quality of life.

Q: How do your prices compare to other stores?

A: We prioritize value and affordability, particularly in our produce department. Thanks to our direct relationships with numerous local vendors, who deliver straight to our store or allow us to pick up fresh from their farms, we can offer competitive prices. Each week, you’ll find thousands of items on sale throughout our store, including our restaurant-quality gourmet deli, which provides a more cost-effective alternative to dining out. While some stores may advertise select-grade meats, we exclusively sell high-quality USDA choice and prime cuts. When comparing quality and consider similar offerings, New Frontiers consistently provides exceptional value.
