The Santa Ynez No. 1 doubles team of Micah Thomas and Charlie Hoose swept their three sets, but otherwise it was tough going against Arroyo Grande in a 13-5 loss on Thursday.

No. 1 singles player Noah Thompson won one of his three sets, as did No. 3 singles player Josh Kazali. The rest went to Arroyo Grande.

“There were a lot tough sets today, and we just couldn’t quite find our range,” Pirates coach Nate Thompson said.
