No injuries were reported in a residential structure fire that broke out Friday afternoon in the Lompoc Valley, according to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department.

Firefighters from the county and Lompoc were dispatched shortly after 2 p.m. to the blaze at a single-family home on the 500 block of South G Street, said Karen Cruz-Orduña, a Fire Department spokeswoman.

“The first arriving crews initiated aggressive fire attack and confirmed all residents were out of the structure,” Lompoc fire Battalion Chief Cody Lee said.

The flames, which spread from the single-story residence to some nearby trailers, were reported knocked down at 2:22 p.m., Lee said.
