Continuing their 37-year tradition of calling attention to and supporting the preservation of open spaces in the natural world through their artwork, the Oak Group members will hold their spring 2023 art show benefiting the Land Trust for Santa Barbara County, May 2-31 in the Santa Barbara Central Library’s Faulkner Gallery, 40 E. Anapamu St
A reception with the artists will be held in the Faulkner Gallery, 5:30-7:30 p.m. on First Thursday, May 4.

Since 1985, the Land Trust has worked with willing landowners, public and private grant and other community organizations to protect, restore and manage open space, wildlife habitat, and agricultural land in Santa Barbara County.
To date, the group has protected more than 31,890 acres of land and counting. Their vision is “a future with conserved lands throughout the county that engage and nourish human, plant, and animal life. These conserved lands include productive family farms and ranches that succeed from generation to generation, healthy habitats to sustain and harbor wildlife and plants, and beautiful trails and open spaces that provide recreational gateways accessible to all.”
The library is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday; closed Sunday-Monday.
The show will also be viewable online May 2-31 at www.oakgroup.org and www.sblandtrust.org.
