A structure fire Wednesday afternoon displaced multiple residents and caused a partial building collapse in Orcutt.
Personnel from the Santa Barbara County Fire Department and Santa Maria Fire Department responded to the incident in the 200 block of Fleming Lane at 4:32 p.m., county fire Capt. Mike Gray said.
The fire involved a single-story accessory dwelling unit to the rear of the main residence, Gray added.
Crews extinguished the fire by 5 p.m., but reported that the structure partially collapsed, leading to a request for bull dozer crew to assist at the scene.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire remained under investigation, Gray said.
Multiple family members were displaced due to the fire and Red Cross personnel responded to provide assistance.
Firefighters asked members of the public to avoid the area off Waller Lane to ensure safety of the fire crews and their ongoing operation.

The Orcutt fire was one of two reported in North County on Wednesday afternoon.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., County Fire crews responded to the 240 block of Meadowlark Road in Santa Ynez for a structure fire, county fire spokeswoman Karen Cruz-Orduña said.
The garage fire was knocked down by 4:40 p.m., she added.
While the garage was damaged, the fire did not extend into the house or attic, Cruz-Orduña said.
