A power pole fire spread to a garage before being extinguished in Montecito on Sunday afternoon. 

At approximately 1:30 p.m., personnel from the Montecito Fire Department responded to an incident in the 1300 block of School House Road, according to Montecito fire officials.

Firefighters found a small garage on fire, but contained the damage to the exterior of the structure after extinguishing the blaze in 13 minutes. 

No one was injured due to the fire, but an American Medical Response ambulance was dispatched to the scene as a precaution.

Southern California Edison crews were called to the scene to inspect and repair the power pole.

Along with Montecito Fire, crews from the Santa Barbara City Fire Department and Carpinteria-Summerland Fire Department assisted.
