The city of Lompoc is advising the community that a group was going door-to-door in Lompoc on Friday asking to test water quality due to what they have reportedly claimed is “high levels of contaminants.”

The purported water testers are not affiliated with the city of Lompoc, nor are they permitted by the city.

The Lompoc water quality remains high-quality and uncontaminated, the city assured residents.
