The California Highway Patrol responded to a report of a stuck tour bus blocking North San Marcos Road between State Route 154 and Cathedral Oaks Road just after 3 p.m. Friday.
The back end was stuck and it was unable to turn around, according to reports from the California Highway Patrol.
Vehicles over 35 feet are not allowed on that road, which is located in the mountains above the Goleta Valley.
A tow truck had been called.
“Avoid the area, expect delays, and use alternate routes,” Highway Patrol officials said.
No other information was immediately available.
