Santa Barbara High boys golf shot its lowest score of the season en route to a Channel League win over Ventura High on Tuesday at Buena Ventura Golf Course.
The Dons finished the day with a season-best 364 to beat out the Cougars’ score of 382 on the par-70 course.
Alex Ortega led the charge for Santa Barbara High, shooting a three-under-par 67 to earn co-medalist honors with Ventura’s Harden Weber.
Ortega was joined by teammates Tyler Satterberg (71), Logan Gankas (72), Peyton Webley (76), Jack Alzina (78) and Dimitri Tar (86).
The Dons now boast a strong overall record of 10-1 on the season.
