The Santa Maria Philharmonic’s holiday concert, Baroque Elegance, led by Maestro Michael Nowak will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 6 at First United Methodist Church, 311 S. Broadway, Santa Maria.

Guest classical guitar soloist Jack Cimo will perform in the concerts featuring the works of Vivaldi, Bach, Corelli and Albinoni.

Other soloists will include new concertmaster and violinist Brynn Albanese; Ann Lucas, Allan Hancock College faculty emerita and organist; and viola players David Hennessee and Karen Loewi-Jones.

There will be a pre-concert lecture to learn more about the composers that is open to all ticket holders at 6:50 p.m.
