Santa Ynez cross country runners earned personal records at the Morro Bay Invitational Saturday, led by sophomore Ricky Carmona who ran a PR 20:44 on the three-mile course, for 142nd place in the varsity boys race in the huge meet.
Pirates freshman Brooke Phelan was top varsity girls finisher, shaving 22 seconds off her previous PR, for a time of 23:09.5.
