The Santa Barbara Volleyball Club 18 Molten team captured first place at the USAV Red Rock Rave Junior National Qualifier last weekend in Las Vegas.
With the first-place performance, SBVC earned the automatic bid to the Nationals Tournament from May 1-3 in Reno, California.
“This team exhibited an incredible balance of competitive drive and contagious positive energy,” SBVC director Matt Riley said. “Contributions by every teammate lead to the dominant performance, which is something we all can be proud of. We’re excited to see them compete in USAV Nationals in May.”
SBVC rolled to a 10-0 record in the national qualifier, dropping just one set on the entire weekend.
