The launch of a Falcon 9 rocket at Vandenberg Space Force Base has now slipped to Thursday at the earliest.

Liftoff of the two-stage rocket manufactured by SpaceX will occur between 4:03 and 8:03 p.m. from Space Launch Complex-4 on the southern section of the base in Santa Barbara County.

The mission to deliver 25 Starlink satellites into orbit initially aimed for Tuesday and then Wednesday. Officials did not identify a reason for the delays.

This will be the 23rd launch and landing for the first-stage booster involved in the mission.

The landing is planned for the droneship positioned in the Pacific Ocean hundreds of miles away from the Central Coast.

The live webcast will begin about five minutes before the liftoff and can be seen at www.spacex.com and @SpaceX on X (formerly Twitter).

SpaceX plans one more launch from Vandenberg before the end of March with the Transporter-16 mission planned between 3:20 and 4:14 a.m. Monday, according the firm’s manifest.

Additional Starlink missions are planned for launches April 2 and April 6.
