The city of Ventura’s 4th of July Street Fair and Pushem-Pullem Parade returns 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday, July 4 in downtown Ventura.
The Pushem-Pullem Parade, presented by the Rotary Club of East Ventura, kicks off the celebration at 10 a.m. on Main Street in front of Cemetery Memorial Park and flows into the Street Fair.
The parade is free to attend. Families are encouraged to decorate bikes, scooters, strollers, or wagons and join the fun. Note that motorized vehicles are not permitted.
This year’s Street Fair features:
• Local artisan vendors
• Classic Car Exhibit on South Oak Street
• Live music and performances
• Kids’ Activity Area and Fire Department Activity Area
• Cornhole games
• Access to downtown shops and outdoor dining as part of Main Street Moves
• Community bike ride
A complimentary Bike Valet, provided by the city’s Transportation Division in partnership with Bike Ventura, will be available at the Street Fair from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. at Main and South Chestnut streets.
Event partners include the Downtown Ventura Organization and the Rotary Club of Ventura–East. Event sponsors are Farm Fresh To You, Hermance Law, and Ventura County Credit Union.
