The courageous advocate Marian Wright Edelmen, the founder and president of the Children’s Defense Fund, will be delivering the Centennial Lecture of the UCSB Gevirtz Graduate School of Education on Feb.23, at 7:30 p.m. in UCSB Campbell Hall.
She will discuss her newest book, “The Sea is So Wide and My Boat is So Small — Charting a Course for the Next Generation.”
The event is free. Books will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
