The American Red Cross, Santa Barbara County Chapter has put its emergency shelter at San Marcos High School on standby status.

If the need arises, the shelter will open again, which can be done in a matter of minutes.

Those in need of emergency housing because of Gap Fire evacuations are asked to call the Santa Barbara Red Cross at 805.687.1331.
